Bovington Camp is approximately 8 miles from Wareham and 2 miles from Wool, which is the nearest railway station. There is a bus and taxi service from Wool

The Tank Museum houses the most comprehensive collection of armoured vehicles in the world. It tells the story of tanks and armoured warfare illustrated through scientific and technological developments, woven together with stories of human endeavour on the battlefield. An extensive archive and library may be viewed by appointment. See the website for School Holiday and Special Events. All visitors receive an Annual Pass at no extra cost.
