The Royal Regiment of Artillery, generally known as the Royal Artillery or the Gunners, provides firepower, surveillance and target acquisition for the British Army. Formed in 1716, it has been involved in almost every battle and operation the Army has fought over the last 300 years.

They are currently working with the Army to identify the best site on which to build the new museum, and hope to have more news on this soon.

Great hidden artillery museum. Phone before you plan to visit as they do not take casual visitors. The hangers played an important role in British military flying history. We had a great guided tour. The display of historic artillery guns is fascinating

What a little gem of a place, the guilded tour was really interesting got your attention and it was a very clean place and nice displays but would be better when in a bigger fit for purpose place to show off everything in still in storage boxes.
