How to get there: The collection covers the 300 hundred year history of Wales’s oldest infantry regiment and occupies five floors in two towers of the castle. There are fine displays of uniforms, medals and regimental memorabilia from the many campaigns in which it has fought. There is also reference to the Regiment’s famous First World War literary heritage linked to Robert Graves, Siegfried Sassoon, David Jones, Frank Richards and Dr Dunn. The regimental library and archive are not held on site and may be viewed by appointment only.
