The Surrey Infantry Collection, formerly known as the Surrey Infantry Museum, was based at Clandon Park until the fire at the property in 2015. The collection is now mostly in private storage at the Surrey History Centre, but we have displays at Guildford Museum, the Lightbox in Woking, and in the reading and meeting rooms at the Surrey History Centre. The collection contains items relevant to the Queen’s Royal Surrey Regiment, including its two forebear regiments, the Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey) and the East Surrey Regiment.
The collection’s archival material is looked after by the Surrey History Centre and available for public consultation. Please see: https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/culture-and-leisure/history-centre for details of their opening hours and to book an appointment.
