Held within Chelmsford Museum, the Essex Yeomanry collection covers the history of the Yeomanry from when it first appeared as a volunteer cavalry in 1797 to the present day. The collection includes uniform, medals, weapons, badges and ephemera that illustrate the life of the Essex Yeomanry.
