Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry Museum

The Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry collection marks its association with the county of Lancashire with items from the 19th century, Boer War, both World Wars, together with “peacetime” soldiering up to the present day. The physical collection is currently (Spring 2021) without a home, due to the permanent closure of its previous home in the Museum of Lancashire in Preston. The Trustees are actively securing a new location for the collection, but meanwhile everything is wrapped and secure in packing cases and unavailable for inspection.
