101 (Northumbrian) Regimental Royal Artillery (Volunteers) Museum

Formed in 1967 by the amalgamation of 274th (Northumbrian) Field Regiment RA (TA), [formerly the 4th (Northumbrian) Brigade RFA (TF) whose antecedents were the Durham RGA (V)] the war raised 324th Heavy Air Defence Regiment RA (TA) and 439th (Tyne) Light Air Defence Regiment RA (TA) both of which saw Service in the Second World War. All three recruited from the North East, with Headquarters in Newcastle-on-Tyne and South Shields.
