About This Museum
The Regimental collection is housed in Caernarfon Castle and covers the 300 hundred year history of Wales’s oldest infantry regiment. There are fine displays of uniforms, medals and regimental memorabilia from the many campaigns in which it has fought. There is also reference to the Regiment’s famous First World War literary heritage linked to Robert Graves, Siegfried Sassoon, David Jones, Frank Richards and Dr Dunn. Click here for a virtual tour.
The regimental library and archive are not held on site and may be viewed by appointment only..

Visiting Advice
A55 from Chester or A487 from South and Mid Wales and follow signs to the museum. By rail to Bangor and then bus or taxi to Caernarfon. Parking available adjacent to the museum. Much of the museum is accessible by stairs only.
