Royal Signals Museum

About This Museum

The Royal Signals Museum houses the national collection of military communications from the Crimea to the present day with displays on the Great War, the Second World War, Korea, the Falklands and the Gulf War. The story of military communications and of The Corps is vividly told via a series of exhibitions – including interactive exhibitions – and displays. There is a reference to the activities of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), the ATS, Long Range Desert Group and SAS Signals. The history of codes and code-breaking also features. Exhibits include vehicles, motorbikes, uniforms, medals, equipment, memorabilia and trench art. The museum has a variety of excellent interactive displays with competitions and “fun trails” to appeal to the younger visitor.
