Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Royal Warwickshire) Museum
About This Museum
The museum tells the story of the 6th Foot (Royal Warwickshire Regiment) from its raising in 1674 to the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers today. The story of the ‘Warwickshire Lads’, from Private to Field Marshal, is illustrated with an exciting collection of uniforms, weapons, equipment, badges, medals, pictures, documents and regimental memorabilia. The regimental library and archive are on site and may be viewed by appointment. The museum is situated in a 17th century Grade I listed house, which is regarded as one of the most important buildings in Warwick; it has been a museum since 1961. If travelling any distance to the museum please telephone in advance of your intended visit as staff shortages can very occasionally cause short notice closures.
