Liverpool Scottish Museum Archive

About This Museum

The Regimental Museum Trust is responsible for the Regimental Museum, established in 1979 to protect the collection of artefacts acquired since the foundation of the 8th (Scottish) Volunteer Battalion, The King’s (Liverpool Regiment) in 1900. This and its successor units are generally known as The Liverpool Scottish.

Access to our extensive archive material is available by appointment only.  The archives include diaries, scrapbooks and records of a significant number of soldiers who have served with the regiment together with a database of soldiers who served. We have record material relating to Merseyside War Memorials. We have a virtual display on our website.
