The Inniskillings Museum

The Castle, Enniskillen, BT74 7HL

The very recently modernised Museum features a wide range of original uniforms, weapons, silver, medals and regimental memorabilia including eight Victoria Crosses awarded during the First World War and the bugle that sounded the advance of the 36th (Ulster) Division at the opening of the Battle of the Somme on 1 July 1916. The collection is displayed in chronological order in the Keep of Enniskillen Castle.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday (all year round):  9.30am* – 5.00pm

Saturdays (all year round):  11.00am – 5.00pm

Sundays (Jun to Sept):  11.00am – 5.00pm

Bank Holidays – open on NI & ROI Bank Holidays from 9:30am* – 5:00pm

Closure period – Enniskillen Castle closes for Christmas holidays. Timings will be published.

*9.30am opening for new visitor centre and 10:00am for other buildings
