About the museum

A small collection of items associated with the Sussex and Surrey Yeomanry is housed in the restored coastal fort that guards the entrance to Newhaven Harbour.  The fort also has a range of other exhibits recounting the history of the area at war, including the First and Second World Wars.

There is also a history of the regiment on the Sussex Yeomanry website.
