About the museum

Regimental Headquarters Scots Guards (RHQ) at Wellington Barracks houses the collections of the Scots Guards Charitable Funds. These collections of objects and archives are maintained by the Trustees of the Scots Guards Charitable Funds. The Archives collection holds records relating to the Third Regiment of Foot Guards, the Scots Fusilier Guards and the Scots Guards and their officers and men since the mid-seventeenth century. A number of formal service records of members of the Scots Guards and its predecessor regiments are also held. Enquiries concerning the collections should be addressed to the Regimental Archivist and will be answered by email and/or post.


The Guards Museum in London contains a wealth of information and artefacts relating to the five regiments of Foot Guards namely Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards.
