This year AMOT is running a two day Army Museums Festival with three exciting elements to it.
Wednesday 11th October
09.30-17.00 Mercers’ Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London, EC1V 8HE This day provides the traditional format of the AMOT Annual Conference, this year with a theme of Bricks & Clicks – collections both physical and digital. Delegates will receive a variety of presentations on sector updates and activity, important case studies, and key note speakers from partners, stakeholders and those outside the sector, as well as a range of exhibitors.
18.00-20.00 Mercers’ Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London, EC1V 8HE The evening following Conference will take on a whole new format this year. Drawing together a range of relevant organisations, the event will provide delegates with a relaxing opportunity to network with a range of organisations, gain support for their museum or collection, and build new contacts and partnerships to support future activity.
Thursday 12th October
10.00-16.00 Churchill War Rooms, London The final day will run as a series of workshops to provide practical hands-on advice and guidance on key ares affecting army museum delivery. This will include evaluation, governance change, social media and wider communications support, audience development, and fund-raising.

The cost of the event is part funded by Arts Council England as a key component of our funded project Army Museums into the Future. This means that the fee you pay relates to the delivery of Day 1 only.
