This Regiment, raised for King Charles 1st by Sir John Hepburn in 1633 is the oldest in the British Army. The Regimental museum illustrates its history chronologically through displays of paintings, artefacts, uniforms, silver, badges and medals. The regimental archive and library are on site and may be viewed by appointment.
