How to get there:
By train to Reading/Wokingham, then by bus. By road, along A327 from Reading to Arborfield Garrison.

The Museum reflects the proud history and role of the Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Spread over a four and a half acre site, the Museum has a comprehensive collection of artefacts and exhibits illustrating the extensive scope of the REME Tradesman’s responsibilities and activities in maintaining and repairing the Army’s inventory of equipment. The spectacular displays include examples of wheeled, tracked and armoured recovery and repair vehicles, medals, pictures and one of the finest small arms collections in the country. The Museum is home to the Corps archives containing an extensive collection of documents, records, photographs and technical handbooks. A calendar of family events is published on the Museum’s website (rememuseum.org.uk) and a comprehensive education services is available to schools.
