How to get there:
To the south of the airport terminal on the road between Ballasalla and Castletown

Now re-designed and collocated with the Manx Aviation and Military Museum at the Island’s airport, the Manx Regiment Museum commemorates the part played by the Island’s Regiment during WW2 both in the defence of the Isle of Man itself and in overseas theatres such as Egypt, Eritrea, Crete, Italy, France, Holland and Germany. The collection is rich in regimental memorabilia and includes a 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun on a towed mounting and a very rare 1944 Morris- Commercial C9/B self-propelled Bofors gun as used by the Regiment in North-West Europe.
