How to get there: The Gurkha Museum, tells the story of Gurkha service to the Crown since 1815, covering the Indian Mutiny, North-West Frontier, both World Wars, post-Empire conflicts in Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Falkland Islands and a variety of more recent UN operations including Zaire, the Gulf, Bosnia, Kosovo, East Timor, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan. The collection also reflects the art and culture of Nepal. There is also an extensive library and archive facility available by prior appointment.
