The Light Dragoons (15th/19th King's Royal Hussars) Museum Collection
How to get there:
The regimental collections are on display in the Soldier’s Life Gallery of the Discovery Museum and that theme characterises the displays which reflect the various stages of a soldier’s life in a cavalry regiment. These include recruitment, training, life in war and peace, death or retirement. The objects on display include uniforms, badges and regimental memorabilia. There is extensive use of realistic mannequins and evocative scene setting as well as a short film of life in The Light Dragoons. The Gallery has recently undergone major refurbishment and houses an excellent, well presented collection.
